Our team is committed to supporting clients on their journey to sobriety and long-term wellness. We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced therapist to join our team remotely. Position Overview: The Remote Therapist will provide virtual therapy services to clients struggling with substance use disorders. This role requires an individual with a strong background in addiction treatment, who is skilled in various therapeutic modalities and passionate about helping clients achieve lasting recovery. The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and support to clients across California. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct virtual individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients with substance use disorders. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients’ needs, goals, and progress. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and others. Collaborate with the clinical team, including case managers, counselors, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and facility policies. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment. Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families on topics related to substance use, recovery, and mental health. Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times. Qualifications: Licensed as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or PsyD in the state of California. Associate therapist; AMFT, ACSW or APCC in the state of California as well! (Preferred) Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing therapy for substance use disorders. Strong understanding of addiction, co-occurring disorders, and recovery processes. Proficient in virtual therapy platforms and comfortable conducting sessions via telehealth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients remotely. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules, including potential evening or weekend sessions. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest treatment methods Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse populations, including adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with co-occurring mental health disorders.
