Join our esteemed Human Resources Connect team as a Human Resources Operations Intern, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic field of Human Resources. This internship is structured to run year-round, requiring a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during summer, and part-time hours ranging from 15 to 20 hours per week during the spring and fall semesters. Key Responsibilities Serve as the initial point of contact, addressing general inquiries from employees regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures, while delivering friendly and effective Tier 1 support. Assist with various HR Processes by managing essential paperwork and maintaining information systems across different HR functions, including severance and telework. Support Documentation Management by ensuring that HR support documentation is current and relevant for both HR staff and employees. Promote Continuous Improvement by actively reviewing HR processes, gathering feedback, and proposing enhancements to the HR Shared Services team. Collaborate Across Teams by acting as a liaison among various functional areas within Human Resources to ensure a thorough understanding of HR practices and processes. Required Skills Strong ability to collaborate, demonstrating proficiency in both independent and team-oriented tasks. Interest in multiple HR disciplines, such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and employment law. Excellent customer service capabilities, complemented by a positive demeanor. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with notable skills in data handling and reporting. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications Candidates must be a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field at an accredited institution. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
