Job Overview We are a respected accredited online language institution in search of dedicated German Language Instructors to provide dynamic and interactive lessons for middle and high school students aged 12-18. Our innovative approach to teaching emphasizes real-world communication and aligns with ACTFL standards, allowing educators to foster a meaningful learning experience without the constraints of traditional textbooks. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging one-on-one online lessons via Microsoft Teams. Design, assign, and evaluate homework and projects that stimulate student creativity and engagement. Monitor student progress and deliver regular, constructive feedback. Promote student achievement in a supportive and respectful learning environment. Required Skills 1-2+ years of experience teaching German, either online or in a classroom setting. Near-native proficiency in the German language. Proficient in technology, particularly Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Availability to teach during U.S. time zones (PST), with a preference for evening hours. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
