Position Overview The Training Specialist will assist the HR Department in designing, developing, and delivering training materials for the startup’s internship program. This role focuses on supporting intern skill development, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring the program’s learning objectives are met. The Training Specialist will also assist in tracking intern progress and facilitating a hands-on learning experience that aligns with the program’s goals. This internship is unpaid, designed for educational purposes, and complies with FLSA regulations. It offers valuable exposure to project management, helping to build a strong foundation for a career in human resources. Key Responsibilities Assist the Senior Training Specialist in developing and implementing training plans for interns. Coordinate training schedules, sessions, and workshops to ensure effective learning and development. Support the creation of training materials, including presentations, guides, and e-learning modules. Facilitate workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions for interns across departments. Track and monitor intern performance and progress through evaluations and assessments. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve intern learning experiences. Collaborate with department heads and mentors to ensure training aligns with departmental goals and projects. Ensure training resources and tools are up-to-date and accessible to interns. Assist in the continuous improvement of the internship training program by analyzing outcomes and feedback. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to create engaging training content and facilitate learning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and e-learning tools (e.g., Moodle, Articulate). Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field. Experience in training or instructional roles, preferably within a startup or internship program. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training tools. Ability to evaluate and measure training effectiveness through assessments and feedback. Knowledge of best practices in corporate training, internship programs, or employee development. Internship Details Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time). Duration: 90 days, starting from the agreed upon start date. Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for educational purposes only.
Location:
Remote (U.S.-based time zones preferred, but open to international candidates). Additional Information This internship offers a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments, and the duration will be limited to a specific period to ensure valuable learning without displacement of paid roles.
