About The Opportunity This position is responsible for sales penetration for a specific group of accounts within a geographic territory. The incumbent is expected to maximize territory growth by developing meaningful customer relationships that yield account value. Territory planning | Establishing strategies, objectives, and action plans to deliver established sales quotas. Travel and Face to Face | 70% travel required, equating to ~3.5 days per week in the field In-Person Customer Meetings |15 face-to- face in person meetings required per month Account value | Maximize sales revenue and margins within the territory. Value-Based Selling | Identify and confirm value proposition ORBIS products and services bring our customers through high impact questioning and deep understanding of customers supply chain. Asset/expense management | Maximize the use of company equipment to fulfill key focus areas, meet budget requirements as specified in territory operating plans. Channel management and support where applicable | Including collaboration with product marketing and sales leadership. Account planning | Develop and understanding of the account’s business needs and its industry, compile and publish account profiles, establish strategies, objectives, and action plans, identify key decision makers within assigned accounts. Account penetration | Broaden presence in existing accounts; converting competitive accounts, secure new business by promoting new products and services, implement sales promotion programs, establish sales call cycle that meets needs of accounts, work with assigned channels, develop new accounts by prospecting, lead follow-up, and working with new business development, develop an understanding of new markets with applications aligning with Orbis’ strategies. Account relationships | Develop customer relationships to one partnership; increase number of contacts with an account and sell at the appropriate level. Synergistic team selling | Assist others in geographic locations to secure sales as new product opportunities surface, channel information to appropriate personnel, support accounts outside of the ORBIS business where need and practical. Customer visits and on-site consultation to drive solutions | Meet required 15 face-to-face meetings / month Other duties as assigned.
