Job Overview

ATTENTION: THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP This remote role reports to Edited Studio’s CEO, and supports carrying out tasks for marketing, public relations snd partnerships-related client projects, including, but not limited to copywriting for social media, as well as press and B2C emails, determining editors and other industry professionals to target for quality client placements, assisting in strategy and planning, as well as assisting in various operational tasks. INTERNSHIP duration: 4 months

Remote (US-based preferred) Hours: 15 hrs max/min per week RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. Support in creating, scheduling, and posting content across various social media platforms. Assist in developing marketing materials such as blog posts, newsletters, and brochures. Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive analysis. Support Edited Studio’s partnership division in facilitating collaborations on behalf of various talent and entities. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and PR efforts, using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on campaign progress. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining contact databases, and handling correspondence. Create and maintain media contact lists and databases. Monitor industry trends and provide insights to the team. Assist in the development of marketing strategies and plans. Support sales team in prospect client outreach as needed . Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors for marketing materials. QUALIFICATIONS Currently studying or Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and digital marketing strategies Strong knowledge in current fashion brands, news and trends Strong knowledge in current entertainment and pop culture Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets etc) Familiarity with marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience with content creation and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus Knowledge of SEO and SEM practices Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers Strong understanding of brand management and corporate communications Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact)
