Job Overview

Our client, a global Saas who automates your sales tax compliance , is looking to hire a Payroll Administrator to join their team remotely! The HR Generalist supports and facilitates the People Partner processes across US operations. This role provides administrative assistance to the People Partners, including employee status updates, change request submissions, reporting, termination process, etc.

*This is a 1-year contract to start, with the opportunity to extend or convert*

*100% remote with a preference of someone who can work PST hours*

Responsibilities

* Leading projects and/or contributing to projects in support of the People Partner team goals and initiatives.
* Support the US People Partners in People change initiatives.
* Be the point of contact for People related queries.
* Ensure accurate data quality for audits and reporting.
* Provide advice, guidance, and day to day support to business unit managers to effectively manage and resolve people issues (org changes, employee relations, performance management, talent reviews, change management initiatives, etc), ensuring all actions conform to regulatory/ legislative requirements.
* Assist the US People Partner team in implementing programs and policies throughout the businesses they support via communications planning, project management, data gathering and analysis.
* Partner with COEs for issue resolutions, including employee relations, legal, and self-service through ServiceNow.
* Craft manager communications and/or light training on core talent practices such as performance management.
* Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
* Participate in improving HR processes.
* Work with Employee Relations and serve as the primary liaison with business/functional areas on ER matters, such as performance issues, accommodations, policy violations, job eliminations, escalating up to Sr or Global People Partners as appropriate.
* Provide administrative and tactical support to the US People Partners.
* Partner with other areas of HR (total rewards, recruiting, TM/LD, HR Services, etc.,) to streamline processes and encourage collaboration.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
* Minimum of 3-5 years human resources experience in a global organization.
* Experience with employee relations.
* Experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, etc.).
* Ideally, experience with Workday.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Must maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information and strong documentation skills.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects establishing and maintaining strong working relationships within all levels of the Organization.
