Our HR Development Internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a dynamic consulting environment. Position Overview We are looking for a highly motivated HR Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an educational opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy development. You will work closely with our HR team, assisting in the implementation of HR strategies that support business objectives. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) , specifically Dover , and managing HR databases. This internship is unpaid, designed for educational purposes, and complies with FLSA regulations. It offers valuable exposure to HR processes and best practices, helping to build a strong foundation for a career in Human Resources. Key Responsibilities Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job listings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. Use Dover (our ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track applicants, and ensure timely communication throughout the recruitment process. Support the development and implementation of onboarding programs for new hires. Help create and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and training materials. Collaborate with the HR team to manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and feedback collection. Participate in maintaining HR databases, including employee records and recruitment data, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in organizing employee development programs, workshops, and training sessions. Conduct research on HR trends, compliance, and best practices to inform policy development. Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed, including database management and record-keeping. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong interest in Human Resources and organizational development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and HR databases. Experience or familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Dover. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., Dover, HRIS, ATS). Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, or HR administration (from coursework, previous internships, or related projects). Database management experience, especially within an HR context. Internship Details Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time). Duration: 90 days, starting from the agreed-upon start date. Compensation: This internship is unpaid and is designed for educational purposes only.
Location:
Remote (U.S.-based time zones preferred, but open to international candidates). Learning & Development Gain hands-on experience in HR management and operations. Work closely with HR professionals, receiving direct mentorship. Develop skills in ATS management (Dover), database management, talent acquisition, and HR compliance. Build an understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements.
