About The Role

As the Director of Operations, Partnerships, you will play a critical role in establishing and scaling operations from the ground up for an innovative new business line at Second Nature. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing processes that will drive the success of this new venture. This role requires a leader with a strong operational background, exceptional project management and communication skills, and a passion for innovation and excellence.

This is a new role reporting to the VP of Partnerships.

Responsibilities

* Operationalize Executive Vision and Strategy:
* Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the operational plan for the launch of the new business line, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
* Process Design and Implementation:
* Develop a phased approach to rollout that aligns customer needs with company capabilities and resources.
* Design and implement scalable and efficient operational processes to support growth.
* Put systems and routines in place that ensure we continue to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.
* Identify and organize resources, including staffing, technology, and budget, to support the business line’s operational needs.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Development, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
* Facilitate communication and alignment across departments to achieve objectives.
* Customer-Obsessed
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing any operational issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve escalated issues and improve service delivery.
* “Go and See” attitude. When there’s a new problem or opportunity, you find yourself going right to the source to understand what’s going on and why.
* Project Management:
* Lead and manage key projects related to the business line launch, ensuring timely and successful completion.
* Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and address challenges.
* Performance Metrics and Reporting:
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of operational initiatives.
* Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on performance and progress.
* Risk Management:
* Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure operational stability.
* Work with legal to ensure compliance with all regulatory policies.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Strong background in launching and scaling new business units or divisions to 8+ figures in revenue.
* Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
