Job Description

As an Application Testing Specialist, you will assist in testing software applications and systems. You will learn to create and execute test cases, document test results, and report defects to senior testers. This role emphasizes gaining proficiency in testing techniques, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, and ensuring that software meets quality standards and user requirements.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the development of test plans and test cases based on requirements.
* Conduct functional and regression testing of applications.
* Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
* Work with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve issues.
* Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
* Ensure testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices.
* Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1 years of experience in application testing using skills specified in the document.
* Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

* Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are beneficial.
