JFDI Accountants is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support one of our CPA partners. This CPA partner is a dynamic boutique accounting firm experiencing rapid growth. They specialize in providing top-tier services in tax, audit, accounting, and business consulting to a diverse clientele. Their team is dedicated to delivering personalized solutions that add value to both personal and professional aspects of their clients’ lives. With a focus on various industries, including Cryptocurrency, Distribution, Entertainment, International Taxation and Financial Reporting, Legal, Manufacturing, Not-for-Profit, Real Estate, Service, and Technology, they pride ourselves on their adaptability and client-centered approach.

Position Summary:

This role will assist the Office Manager with a wide array of administrative and operational duties. This will be a client-facing role that requires a polished individual with a client-service mindset. We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and intelligent individual who is a quick learner and problem solver. If you can quickly adapt and maintain professionalism in a remote work environment, and have some HR exposure and understanding, you are an excellent fit for our team.


Responsibilities:

* Manage incoming calls by providing information, taking messages, and transferring calls as needed
* Communicate with clients regarding various matters, including payment collection for the firm
* Oversee and troubleshoot client portals, assisting clients with issue resolution as necessary
* Monitor, track, and respond to client documents received promptly and efficiently.
* Reconcile accounts payable and perform light reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting
* Generate payment reports, upload invoices, and update payment software to maintain current client information
* Onboard new clients and manage related spreadsheets and reports
* Support various firm projects, including tax return assemblies and electronic filings
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support the firm’s operations

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

* 1-2 years of relevant experience
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Highly adaptable with strong analytical and computer skills
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
* Excellent time management and organizational abilities
* Capable of working remotely with a reliable internet connection and cellphone
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Familiarity with accounting software, particularly CCH Axcess Suite, is a plus
* Technologically proficient and comfortable with new software and tools
